Labs21 2005 Annual Conference Cosponsor

EPA and DOE are pleased to announce that the Eagleson Institute was selected as the cosponsor for the Laboratories for the 21st Century (Labs21) Conference, held at the Oregon Convention Center, October 18-20, 2005, in Portland, Oregon. The Eagleson Institute is a nonprofit foundation with a mission to promote the principles and practices of laboratory safety.

The search for a cosponsor began in the spring of 2005 as a part of an overall effort by EPA and DOE to encourage more active involvement of non-Federal stakeholders, and to improve and grow the Labs21 program. Entering into a cosponsorship agreement with a non-public partner is part of our continuing commitment to both the program and its philosophy of building high performance, low-energy laboratories.

The Eagleson Institute has 16 years of experience designing and coordinating seminars and conferences. Partnerships include Centers for Disease Control (CDC), CUH2A (a leading architecture firm), American Biological Safety Association (ABSA), MA Public Health Laboratory, and Controlled Equipment Testing Association (CETA).
