Roll Up Your Sleeves Roundtable
The first-ever Roll Up Your
Sleeves Roundtable gave attendees
the opportunity to help craft
solutions to specific design and engineering challenges facing current
laboratory projects.
During the Roundtable, selected projects still in the design phase
were presented for peer review, led by technical experts from the
building owner and design team. Attendees chose between numerous
projects, each facing unique challenges, including:
- Optimizing HVAC systems in mixed office and laboratory space
- Balancing security standards with goals for user comfort and
energy efficiency
- Upgrading a sophisticated HVAC control system
- Meeting the unique needs of specialty laboratories
