Energy Benchmarking Data

Dan Doyle, Grummun Butkus Associates

Measuring and tracking the energy usage of a facility is a vitally important task in assessing the success of ongoing efforts and investment to reduce energy costs.

Further, it is beneficial to see how a facility's energy consumption and cost stack up compared to similar facilities and best practices: benchmarking.

This presentation provides the results of a recent energy and water consumption and cost benchmarking survey of over 100 hospitals, most located in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
