Labs21 Workshop: Laboratory Operations and Maintenance

Improving operations and maintenance has become one of the most cost-effective methods for ensuring reliable, safe, and energy-efficient facilities. Laboratory professionals involved with facility maintenance, engineering, and employee health and safety were invited to attend this half-day workshop to learn the true relationship between how systems are operated and maintained and the overall safety and energy efficiency of a laboratory facility. Participants gained a better understanding of the "big picture" implications of their own actions, from fume hoods to building HVAC systems.
