Utilizing BIM to Fuel Facility Management
Eric Hall, Innovations 10.01
Innovations 10.01 developed Site 10.01, a Web based facility management solution with mobile capabilities. Site 10.01 uses the BIM information created in the construction process in a way that users can easy and visually navigate a building to view assets, create and modify work orders and view up-to-date design documents. Here we will walk you through two different case studies within the healthcare and mission critical industries.
As Site 10.01 evolves, we see multiple ways the BIM information can and will be utilized in the future. Our clients have started to track life cycle costs and forecasting budgets to modeled assets, as well as, space planning and management within the model. We will touch on each of these uses a little more in depth in this session.
