Laboratory Ventilation Management Plan

Ellen Sweet, Cornell University

Preparing a Lab Ventilation Management Plan is an initial step to improving the management of the ventilation systems that serve laboratories where hazardous chemicals are used. This written plan aligns stakeholders and outlines system performance expectations and is used to achieve safety and sustainability goals. This presentation highlights the difference between a “static” management plan and one that incorporates continuous improvement measures.
