RightCycle and Reducing Lab Consumable Waste

RightCycle by Kimberly-Clark Professional is an innovative recycling program that has helped labs and universities divert more than 200 tons of waste from landfills by converting hard-to-recycle products, such as nitrile gloves and protective garments, into durable products and consumer goods. University labs estimate that up to 30 percent of its waste stream came from laboratory and research buildings—it doesn’t have to be that way—RightCycle can help labs reduce their waste going to the landfill.

Biography:

The Kimberly-Clark Scientific Division works with Clean and Regulated businesses and research institutions to improve their processes, protect their people and to reduce their waste streams. Prior to his sales role, Wolfe managed our manufacturing operations in South East Asia with an emphasis on commercializing new products for clean and regulated environments with a Zero-Waste manufacturing platform. Wolfe has a B.S from The University of California at Berkeley in International Business and has had various roles in manufacturing, product and platform development and sales management.

Jodi's major sustainability initiative, RightCycle by Kimberly-Clark Professional, introduced the world to an innovative solution for hard-to-recycle waste streams found in every laboratory and cleanroom today. The RightCycle* program makes Kimberly-Clark Professional the first major manufacturer to bring sustainability solutions for nitrile gloves and apparel to the market. This program supports Kimberly-Clark Corporation's global commitment to partner with customers to move beyond zero manufacturing waste-to-landfill by extending the life of 150,000 tons of product and packaging materials after use by 2022. Jodi has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and has held various roles in manufacturing, operations management and sales management within the Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Academic and B2B segments.
