Stirling Ultracold: Enabling Sustainable Advantages Across the Entire Organization
Tim Kehrli, Stirling Ultracold, Division of Global Cooling, Inc.
Ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers are a staple in the research environment, and a necessary tool for preserving high-value biological specimens for active projects and long-term storage. This presentation will provide an overview of the wide-ranging benefits that come from adopting Stirling Ultracold's innovative ULT cooling technology and the SU780UE upright freezer. Real-world data from third-party sources will reveal the SU780UE's measurable advantages for delivering sustainability, including significant reductions in overall carbon footprint, energy use, facility infrastructure and cost of ownership.
