Transportation
To and From the Airport
Indianapolis International Airport is located less than 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. There are several ways to travel to and from the airport.
- Public Transit
IndyGo Route 8 travels from the airport to downtown Indianapolis via West Washington Street. West Washington Street is one block from the Indiana Convention Center, site of the Labs21 Annual Conference, and within three blocks of all conference hotels. A one-way trip is $1.75.
IndyGo also offers a $7 GreenLine Airport Downtown Express Shuttle with direct service from the airport to downtown every 20 minutes daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.For more information and schedules, visit the IndyGo website.
- Taxi Service
A taxi from the airport to downtown will range from $18 to $25. There are taxis stationed outside the airport, and all the conference hotels can arrange for a taxi to pick you up at the hotel to take you to the airport. - Limousine Service
A variety of companies offer limousine service, including share-a-limo service. - By Car
Take I-70 East to exit 79A (West Street). Turn left (north) onto South Missouri Street. To reach the Marriott, turn right (east) onto West Maryland Street. The hotel will be 1 block down on your left.
Parking
The Marriott Indianapolis Downtwon offers onsite parking for $15 hourly and $27 daily, as well as valet parking for $30 daily. Public parking is also available throughout downtown Indianapolis. For more information on public parking, view the Indianapolis Parking Map.
Around Town
Go green while in Indianapolis, and plan to walk or take public transit as much as possible.
- Walking
Downtown Indianapolis (restaurants, shops, and museums) is easily accessible by foot and safe for walking both day and night. Use the most efficient form of transportation you have and get some exercise by walking to your destinations! See the Indiana Convention Center Information Center (located next to Exhibit Hall D) or your hotel concierge for more information. - Public Transportation
There are numerous bus routes downtown, including a loop that operates on North Capitol Avenue and Ohio, Delaware, and Maryland Streets. A single bus ride fare is $1.75, and a day pass is $4.00. Exact change is necessary. Individuals over 65 years of age ride for half price. - Taxi
Taxis are easily accessible in downtown Indianapolis, or you can have your hotel call one for you.
