Sustainability Through Global Approved Safety Cabinets

In a globalized world with multinational companies and joint ventures of science and research projects, the safety and sustainability of products is becoming more important. Meanwhile, a safety cabinet must fulfill different criteria in states all around the world, and must be able to be used everywhere. Furthermore, sustainability (based on qualities like increased lifetime or user-friendliness) is getting more and more important. Düperthal, a member of Lab 2020 and EGNATON, has done research in this field together with partners in Europe and also in the United States. This presentation will show differences between European and U.S. safety cabinets and what they have in common. The data for the benchmarks are based on test procedures, standards, and regulations.
Biography:
Roland Bieder began working for Düperthal in 1989 as a regional sales manager. In 1993 he moved to another company, but he returned in 1996 to serve in the marketing department. In 2002 he was assigned to cover total sales for Düperthal and was promoted to executive head of sales.
