Biographies:
Jonathan Ammon is a virtual construction engineer with Gilbane Building Company in Phoenix, Arizona. He has led the virtual coordination effort during the design and construction phases of projects and views the BIM/virtual design and construction (VDC) environment as a central hub for communication and project development between the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Mr. Ammon has master's degrees from both the School of Architecture and Construction Management at Washington University in St. Louis. While working with the VDC team at Gilbane he is concurrently earning his professional license in architecture.
F. Chip Bullock, Jr., AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is the managing principal and director of architecture at HDR Architecture Inc., in Atlanta and principal-in-charge of the Georgia Tech Carbon-Neutral Energy Solutions Laboratory project. Mr. Bullock has 27 years of experience designing and managing advanced sustainably designed large capital research facility projects and has made numerous presentations across the United States on the topic of sustainable design and construction.
