The Establishment of China Standard to Ductless Fume Hood
Dong Liu, Tongji University
Ductless fume hoods are being applied more and more widely to protect the persons who are working in laboratories in China. Ductless fume hoods are also helpful to save energy consumption in the laboratory. It is necessary to establish the standard of ductless fume hoods in order to ensure their safety. The speaker's working team is responsible for the establishment of the China standard to ductless fume hoods. This standard is complete and will soon be published. This presentation will introduce the main requirement of ductless fume hoods in China, as well as cover the key technology for this kind of fume food. There have been many valuable experiences during the establishment of this standard, and the speaker will share those experiences with others in terms of safety and energy conservation for laboratories.
