Hospital Energy Benchmarking: How Does Your Hospital's Energy Efficiency Stack Up?

Dan Doyle, P.E., LEED AP®, Grumman/Butkus Associates

Measuring and tracking the energy usage of a facility is a vitally important task in assessing the success of ongoing efforts and investment to reduce energy costs.

Furthermore, it is beneficial to see how a facility's energy consumption and cost stack up compared to similar facilities and best practices.

During this presentation, the speaker will provide the results of a recent energy and water consumption and cost benchmarking survey of more than 100 hospitals, most located in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
