Basic information about the Technology and Services Fair:
Audience
The Labs21 2011 Annual Conference once again allowed manufacturers and service providers who meet the needs of high performance facilities—such as laboratories and hospitals—an exceptional opportunity to introduce their technologies, systems, and services to the Labs21 conference audience, comprised of 700 facility managers, engineers, designers, owners, and operators (394 KB, 1 pp, PDF). Based on a 2010 survey, 30 percent of attendees have purchasing power and 55 percent will be starting a new project within the year.
Exhibitor Presentation Opportunities
Sustainable Laboratory Equipment Sessions
Sustainable Laboratory Equipment sessions were offered as part of the conference technical program. These sessions, presented by exhibitors, provided technical information on how laboratory equipment and systems reduce energy and water consumption, improve environmental performance, and enhance overall building management, while also meeting the requirements of the users.
Technology Demonstrations
Following their well-attended debut at the Labs21 2010 Annual Conference, exhibitors once again had the chance to present Technology Demonstrations―educational presentations that feature an exhibitor's equipment―during this year's Technology and Services Fair. These demonstrations gave attendees the chance to see how various industry tests and procedures are performed. The demonstrations also gave vendors the opportunity to showcase their sustainable technology by featuring their product in action. The Technology Demonstrations occurred mid-day Tuesday and Wednesday in the exhibit hall.
