Laboratory Cold Storage Efficiency Consortium (LACSEC) Stakeholders Meeting

Cold storage in research has urgent preservation needs, complex financing, evolving technology, can be 60 to 80 percent of plug load in molecular biology labs, and can drive air conditioning for a whole building. Everyone is invited to attend this discussion: manufacturers, public and private researchers, building operators and designers, utility companies, granting agencies, sample management, testing, and deconstruction experts. Several issues will be discussed as a large group and in smaller working groups.
