On September 22-24, more than 600 architects, engineers, federal employees, laboratory owners, facility managers, and other laboratory professionals gathered to discuss the latest in sustainable high-technology facility design and construction at the Labs21 2009 Annual Conference. The conference was held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, located next to the Indiana State Capitol Building (pictured at left).

On Monday evening, conference attendees were given the opportunity to tour the newly completed Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine Research III facility.
